An Enduring Foundation: In 1991, Century Drywall was founded by Joel Trojan, his brother, John Trojan, Jr., and their brother-in-law, Mike Elliot. At the time, three founders were well established in the industry; Joel and John had 20 years between them as carpenter foremen, and Mike, who holds an engineering degree, was employed as an owner’s representative and project superintendent. The trio recognized the need for a quality construction services firm in the industry and were also encouraged to open the firm by their father and father-in-law, John Trojan, Sr., who had worked in construction for over three decades as a Union Latherer and Business Agent.
Our team of more than 500 union-trained construction professionals brings a wealth of experience and skill to every project. From the office to the field, everyone at Century is committed to excellence in all facets of their job — this is made possible thanks to our commitment to teamwork, integrity, quality, and accountability.
Century is known for pushing the project forward, resulting in a more successful experience for everyone involved and enabling us to consistently complete jobs ahead of schedule. We take pride in our ability to set the pace on-site while maintaining strict quality control, and it’s a primary reason why Century Drywall is one of New England’s fastest-growing companies.
At Century, we keep the customer at the center of each project and demonstrate a strict commitment to professionalism and safety. We always incorporate top on-site safety programs and safety training to help ensure each project’s success. We pride ourselves on being the partner of choice for the region’s leading contractors and suppliers. We honor their trust by following honest business practices and delivering unmatched value.
