Encore Boston Harbor is a luxury resort and casino in Everett, Massachusetts, developed by Wynn Resorts. The resort borders the city of Boston, just five miles from Boston’s Logan International Airport and Financial District. Described by Wynn Resorts as “the largest private single-phase construction project in the history of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,” the development is located on a 33-acre former industrial site along the Mystic River. It opened in 2019 at a total cost of $2.5 billion. Following remediation to clean the site, Wynn Resorts built an integrated resort with a hotel, a harbor walk, restaurants, a casino, spa, retail outlets, and meeting and convention space. Public amenities of the year-round harbor walk include a picnic park, bike and pedestrian paths, viewing decks, waterfront dining and retail, a performance lawn, floral displays, and boat docks.
